Wildcountry Eos snap hook

Discover the Wild Country Eos, a high-performance locking carabiner that sets the standard for lightweight versatility and uncompromising strength in climbing equipment. Engineered as an essential tool for the discerning climber, the Eos snap hook is a masterpiece of modern design, ready to become the workhorse of your rack for everything from demanding trad routes to high-altitude alpine missions and challenging winter ascents.

A high performance offset D, the Eos makes the most of an ‘I beam’ back and hot forging to shed weight and retain strength. This advanced manufacturing process allows for a significant reduction in mass without sacrificing the robust integrity required for critical safety gear. The result is a carabiner that feels impressively light on your harness but provides unwavering confidence when you need it most. One of the most versatile lockers around its keylock nose and easy handling make it perfect for a wide range of uses: trad, winter and alpine. The thoughtfully designed offset D shape ensures that ropes and equipment are naturally guided to the correct position, optimizing the load along the spine, which is the carabiner´s strongest axis.

Usability is at the core of the Eos´s design. The clean, snag-free keylock nose is a crucial feature that enhances safety and reduces frustration, allowing for smooth clipping and unclipping from ropes, slings, and harness gear loops without any catching. This fluid action is invaluable when you´re moving quickly or cleaning a complex anchor. Furthermore, the Eos is built for performance in all conditions. It features a good gate opening that easily accepts ropes and webbing, and its ergonomic shape ensures secure and easy handling, even when you are operating with gloves in cold or wet environments. This attention to detail makes it a truly reliable partner for year-round climbing adventures. Whether you´re building a belay, securing yourself to an anchor, or rigging a rappel, the Eos delivers consistent, dependable performance.
