WILDCOUNTRY Session Quickdraw

Discover the ultimate workhorse for your climbing rack with the Wild Country Session Quickdraw. A robust, durable and versatile quickdraw that offers easy handling and excellent value, the Session is engineered to be your reliable partner on everything from demanding sport routes to long multi-pitch adventures. Built for climbers who demand performance and longevity, this quickdraw combines thoughtful design with uncompromising strength, ensuring you can climb with confidence every time you tie in.

The core of the Session quickdraw is its pair of easy-handling Session carabiners. These krabs are ergonomically designed for a secure grip, making clipping smooth and intuitive, even when you´re pumped and reaching for that crucial next clip. The top carabiner features a solid straight gate for secure and simple attachment to the bolt hanger. The bottom rope-end carabiner is equally efficient, allowing the rope to run smoothly and reducing friction. This intuitive handling allows you to focus on your movement, not your gear.

One of the most significant advantages of the Session quickdraw is the keylock nose design on the carabiners. This snag-free feature prevents the gate from catching on your harness, bolt hangers, or rope, ensuring clean and frustration-free unclipping. Whether you´re stripping a route after a successful redpoint or bailing from a project, the snag-free nose makes the process faster and safer, eliminating a common point of annoyance for climbers.

Constructed using a hot-forged process and featuring an I-beam back, the Session quickdraw is optimised for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. This advanced manufacturing technique allows Wild Country to strategically place material where it´s needed most for strength and remove it where it´s not, resulting in a carabiner that is both incredibly strong and surprisingly light. This means a lighter rack on your harness without sacrificing the high-strength rating you need for complete peace of mind during a fall.

To cater to diverse climbing needs, the Session is available with a tough and durable polyester sling in two lengths: a standard 12cm for direct, straight-line routes and a longer 17cm option to help reduce rope drag on wandering pitches. This versatility makes it an ideal choice for building a full rack that can handle any challenge the crag throws at you.

Features:

* Easy handling Session krabs
* Available with 12cm or 17cm polyester sling
* High strength
* Hot forged
* Keylock nose prevents snagging when unclipping
* Solid straight gate
* I beam back
* Optimised for optimum strength/weight ratio

I had already tried the purple ones, it's a pity that there weren't more of the black ones, otherwise I would have stayed with a whole set!!! Fast shipping as always!

Beautiful Quickdraws, lightweight and the gates are just perfect. However if you buy the 17cm, expect them to turn a bit while clipping as the sling is a bit too thin for the size. I would recommend sticking to the 12cm. Other than that, perfect.

Itching to try 'em out. Very light, rope doesn't get stuck because of that nasty biner hook that these biners don't have color is even brighter than in the picture

Great sewing, light, beautiful and a great price. Carabiners don't have the teeth that curl into the plates, perfect. Sling to keep the tape firm looked very good.
