After several sessions by the water, here is my detailed review of this Akami surfcasting tripod. It is an extremely well-thought-out piece of equipment that meets the demands of the field. The aluminum structure offers an excellent balance between lightness for transport and rigidity during fishing. Once the legs are deployed, anchoring in the sand is very stable, even in the wind or under the tension of good bites. The leg locks are strong and do not slip under load.
