Amiaud Complete Releasable Safety Gaff

AMIAUD Complete Releasable Safety Gaff | The Ultimate Big Game Boathook

Revolutionize your big game fishing experience and prioritize safety on deck with the AMIAUD Complete Releasable Safety Gaff. Expertly engineered for the unique challenges of landing formidable species like tuna and marlin, this tool is more than just a piece of fishing equipment; it´s a complete system designed for ultimate control, security, and the well-being of both the crew and the catch. When you´re battling a fish of a lifetime, you need equipment that performs flawlessly under extreme pressure, and this releasable safety gaff is built to exceed those demands.

The core benefit of this advanced system lies in its releasable head design. Once the gaff is set, the handle can be detached, leaving the gaff head and the attached rope securely on the fish. This critical feature dramatically enhances safety by removing the long, dangerous handle from the equation, preventing a thrashing fish from swinging a 2-meter pole around the cockpit. It allows the crew to manage the fish on a heavy-duty line, providing superior leverage and control right at the gunwale.

Engineered for unparalleled strength and performance, every component is designed for the harsh saltwater environment and the immense power of pelagic giants. The innovative 120° retractable barb is a game-changing safety feature. It ensures a positive and secure hold when engaged with the fish but retracts to minimize the risk of accidental injury to the crew during intense moments or when the gaff is not in use. This makes it one of the safest and most effective boathooks available for offshore angling.

The long, robust handle provides exceptional reach and rigidity. It is crafted to give you the confidence to manage powerful fish from a safe distance, while protective foam covers ensure a firm, comfortable grip even in wet conditions. The formidable stainless steel hook features a wide opening, specifically designed to secure large-bodied fish effectively on the first attempt. This is not just a tool; it´s an investment in safer, more successful, and more controlled big game fishing.
