Baetis Arctic Fox Tail 2XL Feather

BAETIS Arctic Fox Tail 2XL: Premium Fly Tying Material for Unmatched Movement

Unlock the secret to flies that pulse and breathe with irresistible life. The BAETIS Arctic Fox Tail 2XL is a premium, must-have material for the discerning fly tyer who understands that movement is everything. Sourced for its exceptional quality and length, this material provides the ultimate foundation for creating patterns that trigger aggressive strikes from the most selective fish. Its unique properties allow you to build flies that are not just imitations, but true, living representations of prey.

The primary benefit of using the BAETIS Arctic Fox Tail lies in its unparalleled action in the water. The incredibly soft, fine fibers come alive with the slightest current, creating a seductive, pulsating movement that fish find impossible to ignore. Unlike stiffer materials, arctic fox hair doesn´t collapse in the water; instead, it maintains a full, enticing profile while flowing and undulating with a natural grace. This lifelike motion is the key to fooling wary salmon, steelhead, and large predatory trout.

The art of fly tying is one of precision and expression, much like calligraphy with a fine Fountain Pens. In this art form, the BAETIS Arctic Fox Tail is your ink. Each fiber flows from the hook with the same grace and control as ink from a nib, allowing you to paint a picture of life in the water. The fine underfur provides the body and substance of your message, while the long guard hairs add the elegant, sweeping flourishes that capture a fish´s undivided attention. Craft your flies with the same deliberate artistry you´d use with a cherished writing instrument to create patterns that are both beautiful and deadly effective.

Arctic fox tail, ideal for salmon, steelhead and sea trout flies, also suitable for the construction of modern generation streamers.

Supplied in a pack of 1 piece.

Key Features:

* Generous 2XL Size: Each tail is extra-extra-large, providing an abundance of long, usable fibers perfect for large-profile wings on intruder-style flies, classic spey patterns, or for tying multiple smaller flies from a single piece.
* Superb Water Dynamics: The fibers absorb very little water, allowing your fly to remain light and easy to cast. In the water, this quality translates to a material that moves freely and responds instantly to every strip, swing, and current change.
