As a premier product in the fly tying world, the BAETIS Bodies line is engineered to solve one of the most common frustrations for tyers: color shift. Key Benefits and Main Features

Unwavering Color Integrity: The standout benefit of the BAETIS Bodies Line is its exceptional colorfastness. Unlike inferior threads that darken or change hue when they become saturated or are coated with resin, this thread maintains its original tone. This consistency is crucial for tying patterns where a specific color trigger is key, ensuring your nymphs, midges, and dry flies look exactly as you intended in their natural environment.

Efficient and Versatile Application: The thread’s meticulously engineered thickness is a game-changer for efficiency. It is robust enough to allow for the creation of a smooth, tapered body for nearly any fly pattern with a single layer or pass ("single out"). This saves valuable time at the vise, reduces unnecessary bulk, and results in sleeker, more realistic profiles. It lays perfectly flat on the hook shank, providing a smooth underbody for quill, tinsel, or wire wraps, yet it´s equally effective as the primary body material itself.

Superior Strength and Quality: Crafted from a high-quality, multi-fiber material, this thread offers the perfect balance of strength and finesse. It is strong enough to withstand significant tension, allowing you to secure materials firmly without fear of breaking, yet it is fine enough to create delicate and precise details. This durability ensures that your finished flies will stand up to the rigors of casting and, more importantly, the jaws of a fish.

Extensive Color Selection: Your imagination is the only limit. The BAETIS Bodies line is available in a wide and diverse range of colors, from subtle, natural earth tones perfect for realistic nymph patterns to bright, fluorescent attractors for modern and competition-style flies. This extensive palette allows you to perfectly match the local insect life or create eye-catching patterns that provoke an aggressive strike.
