Berkley Sick Stick jigging rod

BERKLEY Sick Stick Jigging Rod: Precision Engineered for Predator Anglers

Unleash the ultimate in sensitivity and control with the BERKLEY Sick Stick jigging rod, a masterfully crafted tool for the modern predator angler. Engineered specifically for the art of jigging and soft bait fishing, the Sick Stick is your direct line to the underwater world, translating every subtle tap, bump, and aggressive strike with unparalleled clarity. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a dedicated enthusiast, this rod is designed to elevate your performance and increase your catch rate.

The SICK rod range is a range of modern, extra fast action rods which are specifically designed for fishing soft lures (both jigging and spinning). This specialized design philosophy ensures that every aspect of the rod is finely tuned for optimal presentation and hook-setting power when using softbaits. The range includes special perch, pike and zander models, acknowledging that true success comes from using equipment tailored to your target. Each of these models have their action, length, casting weight and component set-up specifically designed for the species of fish they are meant for.

A prime example of this dedication to specialization is the Sick Stick Perch 702L S 3-15g. This model is the perfect weapon for finesse jigging, allowing you to feel the most delicate takes from wary perch while having the backbone to control the fight.

At the core of the Sick Stick’s incredible performance is its high-quality 30HDC carbon construction. This advanced material creates a blank that is not only incredibly lightweight for all-day fishing comfort but also exceptionally sensitive and responsive. The fast to extra-fast blank action is the engine of this rod, enabling lightning-fast hook sets and providing the crispness needed to impart the slightest, most enticing movements to your jig or soft plastic. This responsiveness ensures you are always in complete control of your lure and connected to the fish from the moment of the bite.

Every component is selected to enhance the rod´s primary mission: performance-driven jigging. The lightweight LTS anti-tangle guides ensure your line flows freely for maximum casting distance and accuracy, while significantly reducing the frustration of wind knots and tangles, especially when using braided lines. For the angler, the connection point is everything, which is why the Sick Stick features high-density EVA grips. These grips provide a firm, comfortable hold in any weather condition and further amplify the transmission of vibrations from the blank directly to your hands, ensuring you never miss a thing.

Experience the difference that a purpose-built jigging rod makes. Feel every contour of the bottom, detect the most subtle bites, and set the hook with confidence and power.
