Beta Lyre shackle

BETA Lyre Shackle – The Ultimate Connection for Your Anchoring and Mooring System

Secure your peace of mind on the water with the BETA Lyre Shackle, an essential component for any serious boater´s anchoring and mooring setup. Engineered for maximum reliability in the harsh marine environment, this shackle provides a robust and dependable connection point where it matters most. Whether you are connecting your anchor to its chain, integrating a swivel, or securing a mooring line, the BETA Lyre Shackle is designed to exceed expectations, offering superior performance and safety. Its unique design and exceptional strength ensure that your vessel remains secure, allowing you to relax with confidence, whether at anchor for the night or moored in a busy harbour.

The primary benefit of the BETA Lyre Shackle lies in its unparalleled strength and load distribution. The distinctive, wide "lyre" or bow-shaped body is specifically designed to accommodate loads from multiple directions. This makes it the ideal choice for applications where the angle of pull may vary, such as in a rotating anchor system, preventing side-loading stress that can compromise standard D-shackles. This intelligent design allows for smoother articulation of your anchor rode, reducing chafe and wear on your equipment and ensuring a longer service life for your entire anchoring assembly. The inclusion of a captive pin system means you will never again have to worry about dropping and losing a critical component overboard during a crucial moment. This thoughtful feature allows for easier and safer one-handed operation, even in challenging conditions.

Main Features:

* Optimized Lyre Shape: The wide bow design facilitates excellent articulation and is perfectly suited for multi-directional loads, making it superior for connecting anchor and chain.
* High-Performance Construction: Built from a premium, high-strength alloy to deliver exceptional working load and breaking load limits for its size.
* Superior Corrosion Resistance: A flawless, highly polished finish ensures maximum protection against saltwater corrosion, rust, and pitting, guaranteeing longevity and a clean appearance.
* Captive Pin System: The pin remains attached to the shackle body even when fully opened, preventing accidental loss and simplifying handling on deck.
* Self-Locking Design: The pin is engineered to lock securely into place, preventing unintentional loosening caused by vibration or movement.
* Load-Rated and Stamped: Each shackle is clearly marked with its Working Load Limit (WLL) and Breaking Load (BL), providing critical safety information at a glance.
