Black Cat Lighting 2 m leader

Unleash a new level of attraction in your pursuit of monster catfish with the BLACK CAT Lighting 2 m Leader. As a premier product in our Fishing equipment category, this expertly crafted leader is engineered to give you a distinct advantage on the water. Developed by the legendary catfish angler Stefan Seuß, this Waller Spezial ready-made leader is a masterpiece of design and functionality, born from countless hours of real-world testing and a deep understanding of catfish behaviour.

The Lightning Rig is your ultimate solution for presenting baitfish and other natural baits, such as worms or squid, with precision and irresistible appeal. It is specifically designed to position your offering just off the bottom, placing it directly in the patrol path and strike zone of prowling giants. What truly sets this leader apart is its innovative approach to visual stimulation. A strategically incorporated Lightning U-Float acts as the rig´s buoyant core, but its function goes far beyond simple flotation. This unique U-Float is ingeniously designed to securely hold a standard snaplight at its rear, directly facing the bait. This placement creates a powerful light source that illuminates your bait from above, casting an enticing glow that provides an overwhelming additional attraction for catfish. This visual cue is especially deadly in murky water conditions, at depth, or during prime night-time feeding periods, triggering the predatory instincts of even the most cautious specimens.

The bait is secured on a perfectly tied hair rig, which is armed with two robust and razor-sharp single hooks in size 6/0. This dual-hook setup ensures an optimal presentation of your bait, allowing for natural movement while maximizing your hook-up ratio when a catfish commits.
