BLACK CAT ST S 3003 Snap Swivel.

Silicone tube for catfish rigs and for hook protection.

Highly versatile.

Elevate your catfish rigging to a professional level with the Black Cat ST S 3003 Silicone Tube, an indispensable component for the serious angler targeting monster catfish. While often overlooked, this high-grade silicone tubing is the secret to creating stronger, stealthier, and more effective rigs that can withstand the brutal power of Europe´s largest freshwater predators. Its primary function is to provide unparalleled protection and refinement to your terminal tackle setups, ensuring every component works in perfect harmony to land you the fish of a lifetime. Stop leaving critical connection points exposed to wear and tear; this tube is your first line of defense against rig failure.

One of the most significant benefits of the ST S 3003 tube is its ability to flawlessly cover and protect your knots. Whether you are connecting your mainline to a heavy-duty snap swivel or tying on a hook, the knot remains the weakest point. By sliding this durable tube over the knot and the barrel of the swivel, you create a streamlined, anti-tangle boom that shields the knot from abrasion against rocks, logs, and the coarse skin of a catfish. This simple step dramatically increases the longevity and reliability of your entire rig, giving you the confidence to apply maximum pressure during a fight.

The versatility of this product is truly exceptional. It serves as a perfect sleeve for the shank of your hooks, not only protecting the hook point when not in use but also adding a subtle visual element and preventing the bait from sliding up the shank. For anglers using U-float rigs, this silicone tube is essential for creating semi-fixed setups, allowing you to position your float securely on the leader while still being able to adjust its position as needed. Its firm yet flexible nature makes it the ideal material for building custom booms and stand-off sections, keeping your hook and bait presented perfectly away from the mainline and reducing tangles during the cast and on the bottom.

Tubes

The core of this product is its premium-quality silicone construction. These tubes are designed with the perfect balance of elasticity and durability. They are easy to stretch and slide over various components like swivels, hook eyes, and leader lines, yet they grip securely once in place, never slipping under pressure. The material is incredibly resistant to tearing and degradation from UV light and water, ensuring it performs consistently trip after trip. Use it to create bait stoppers, secure hair rigs, or simply to add a buffer between beads and swivels.
