BLACK MAGIC BMax Floating Minnow 3.4g 60mm | Lures | Minnows

Elevate your angling experience and unlock consistent success with the BLACK MAGIC BMax Floating Minnow 60mm. Expertly engineered for both freshwater and estuarine environments, this lure has rapidly become a must-have for discerning anglers targeting a wide variety of predatory species. Its reputation for proven performance is built on a design that perfectly imitates the movements and profile of vulnerable baitfish, triggering aggressive strikes when other lures fail.

The BMax 60mm is designed with a precision-engineered bib that gives it a dynamic and irresistible action. As a floating lure, it rests on the surface, making it ideal for casting over weed beds and submerged structures. Upon retrieval, it dives decisively into the strike zone, typically reaching a running depth of 1.2 to 1.8 metres. This controlled dive allows you to effectively target fish holding in specific water columns, whether you are casting from the bank or trolling from a boat. The lure´s inherent buoyancy also allows it to float up and over snags when you pause your retrieve, significantly reducing frustrating hang-ups and keeping you in the water longer.

Engineered for light tackle enthusiasts, this lure fits perfectly in the 1-10 gr weight class, offering exceptional casting accuracy and control. Its 60mm profile makes it a prime choice within the versatile 10-70 mm lure size, mimicking the most common baitfish that trout, bass, perch, and bream prey on. The BMax’s versatility makes it an indispensable tool, delivering outstanding results from clear mountain streams to murky tidal estuaries.

In response to overwhelming demand and its soaring popularity, the BMax range has been significantly expanded. We are thrilled to introduce two vibrant new colours designed to provoke even the most cautious fish. The NEW ‘Fire Belly’ and ‘Hot Head’ colours have been added to expand the range to an incredible 12 colours - a big increase from the original 5. This expanded palette ensures you have the perfect option to match the hatch, adapt to varying water clarity, and suit any light condition, giving you a critical edge on the water.
