As a crucial piece of fitting for any sailboat, the CL214 Babor Cleat provides exceptional rope-holding power with a design that is both innovative and incredibly practical. Engineered for high-performance applications, its primary benefit lies in the unique side-entry functionality. This allows for rapid rope engagement and release, making it ideal for systems that require frequent and quick adjustments, such as barber haulers, vangs, and outhauls. You can effortlessly pop the rope in and out of the cleat´s jaws from the side, a significant advantage over traditional cleats that require threading the rope through the top. This feature is invaluable when you need to make split-second changes to sail trim while under load.

The low-profile and compact design of the CLAMCLEAT 214 ensures it sits neatly on your deck or spar, minimizing the risk of snagging lines, sheets, or clothing. This sleek build contributes to a safer and more organized deck environment, allowing you to move freely without obstruction. Despite its lightweight construction, this fitting offers remarkable strength, holding lines securely without slippage. Its advanced tooth geometry is designed to grip rope firmly, yet it is gentle enough to minimize wear and tear on your lines, extending their lifespan and saving you money in the long run.

Installation is simple and secure. The cleat is designed to be fastened firmly to either flat or curved surfaces. The base features two countersunk mounting holes, engineered for a powerful connection to your vessel. For a rock-solid installation that you can depend on in any weather, the cleat can be mounted using M5 or No.10 bolts or studs, ensuring it remains stable and secure even under high-load conditions. This robust mounting system provides the confidence you need when sailing in challenging seas.

Perfect for dinghies, dayboats, and larger yachts, the CLAMCLEAT 214 Babor Cleat is a versatile and indispensable piece of hardware. Its superior design and reliable performance make it the fitting of choice for sailors who demand precision, efficiency, and durability from their equipment. Upgrade your boat´s rigging system and gain the control and confidence to sail at your best.
