Colmic WTF690 spaded hook

Dominate the Water with the Colmic WTF690: The Ultimate Spade End Match Hook

Elevate your match and pleasure fishing performance with the Colmic WTF690, a masterfully engineered hook designed for anglers who demand precision, strength, and unwavering reliability. Part of Colmic´s esteemed hook collection, the WTF690 is the definitive choice for modern commercial fishery tactics, providing the confidence you need to turn every bite into a landed fish. Its specialized design is the result of extensive development, aimed at maximising your catch rate and minimising lost opportunities, making it an essential component in the arsenal of any serious angler.

The Colmic WTF690 is built to excel in the most demanding situations. Its unique geometry is immediately apparent, featuring a distinctive wide gape and a short shank. This combination is crucial for achieving superior hook holds, especially when targeting hard-fighting species like carp, F1s, carassio, and quality bream. The wide gape ensures the hook point finds a secure purchase in the fish´s mouth, while the beaked, in-turned point keeps it locked in place, drastically reducing the chance of the hook pulling free during a spirited fight. This design is also perfect for accommodating a variety of popular baits, from soft pellets and corn to maggots and casters, ensuring flawless presentation every time.

Constructed for power without compromise, the WTF690 boasts a medium-to-strong wire gauge that provides the backbone to subdue powerful fish, yet remains discreet enough not to spook wary specimens. The chemically sharpened point is incredibly sharp, delivering instant and effortless penetration with minimal pressure. This means more positive hook-ups, even from the most delicate or shy bites. The hook also features a durable, low-friction protective finish that not only enhances its longevity and corrosion resistance but also aids in smooth, rapid penetration, giving you a critical advantage. As one of the premier Spade End Hooks on the market, it allows for exceptionally neat and strong whipping knots, creating a streamlined presentation that is favoured by top-tier match anglers for its direct line of pull and reliability.

Whether you are fishing the pole at close range or employing a feeder or waggler setup, the Colmic WTF690 adapts to your needs, offering unparalleled performance that translates directly to more fish in your net.
