DAIWA Tanacom Medium Leader: Master the Depths with Precision

Unlock the full potential of your deep-water electric reel setup with the DAIWA Tanacom Medium Leader, a masterfully engineered rig designed for the serious angler. When you´re targeting fish in the challenging depths, every component of your tackle matters. This pre-tied leader system is specifically crafted to complement the power and precision of electric reels, providing a reliable, high-performance connection between you and your catch. Say goodbye to time-consuming rig tying and hello to more time fishing with a professionally designed solution, built to withstand the rigors of the deep sea.

The Tanacom Medium Leader is the perfect partner for your Tanacom electric reel, but its robust construction makes it an exceptional choice for any intermediate electric reel setup. At its core, a tough 0.100mm fluorocarbon mainline serves as the robust backbone of the rig. This mainline offers exceptional strength and abrasion resistance, giving you the confidence to battle powerful fish and navigate rough underwater structures without fear of failure. Being a fluorocarbon version, the entire rig boasts near-invisibility underwater, a critical advantage when pursuing wary, line-shy species in clear deep-water conditions. This stealthy presentation significantly increases your chances of getting a strike.

This rig’s design is optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. It features four separate tails, each measuring 40cm, branching off the main line. This multi-hook setup allows you to present a spread of different baits, covering more area and appealing to a wider range of feeding preferences. Each tail is constructed from a durable 0.60mm leader material, providing a perfect balance between subtlety for a natural bait presentation and toughness to resist teeth and abrasion.

The business end of the rig is armed with a strategic combination of premium circle light hooks. You get three size 1/0 hooks and one slightly larger 2/0 hook. This versatile arrangement allows you to experiment with different bait sizes and target a variety of species, from smaller sea bream to larger bottom dwellers. Circle hooks are celebrated for their ability to deliver a secure hook-set in the corner of the fish´s mouth, dramatically increasing your hook-up ratio and making it far less likely for the fish to shake free during the long retrieve from the deep. This also promotes healthier catch-and-release practices. The "light" wire design ensures excellent penetration with minimal pressure, which is essential for solid connections at depth.

Designed for anglers who demand reliability and performance, the DAIWA Tanacom Medium Leader is your ready-to-fish solution for conquering deep-water environments.
