BASE-X CARP.

The Base-X Carp is the perfect carp rod for beginners and casual carp hunters.

The semi-parabolic action of the slim yet powerful fibreglass blank forgives almost every mistake in the fight and makes the rod an ideal partner to achieve the first successes in carp fishing.

Building on this exceptional foundation, the Base-X Carp rod is designed to build your confidence with every cast and every catch. The forgiving semi-parabolic action is a key benefit, acting as a superior shock absorber during intense battles. This means it expertly cushions the powerful lunges and head shakes of a large carp, significantly reducing the risk of hook pulls and giving you greater control. This forgiving nature allows you to learn the art of playing a fish effectively, maintaining constant pressure without overwhelming the tackle or the fish.

Don´t let its user-friendly design fool you; the slim blank conceals a powerful backbone. This inherent power translates into impressive casting performance, allowing you to accurately place your rigs at distance, whether you´re casting a single hookbait or a loaded PVA bag. The rod loads progressively and releases energy smoothly, helping you reach those promising spots beyond the margins where big carp often patrol.

Every component on the DAM Base-X Carp has been selected for resilience and function. It features quality, hard-wearing guides that ensure minimal line friction, promoting longer, smoother casts and protecting your line from wear and tear, whether you use monofilament or braid. A robust and secure reel seat locks your carp reel firmly in place, eliminating any worries about movement or instability when you´re battling a personal best. The handle is designed for comfort and grip, providing a secure hold in all weather conditions, ensuring you remain in complete control from the moment you cast out to the final moments of the fight in the landing net.

Available in various lengths and test curves, the DAM Base-X Carp series offers a model for every scenario. Choose a shorter rod for fishing in tight swims or from a boat, or opt for a longer, more powerful version for extreme distance casting on large venues. Whatever your choice, you are investing in a rod that delivers outstanding value and performance. Step up your angling game and experience the joy of carpfishing with a rod that is built to help you succeed
