DAM Nova Planer spinning rod

Discover the ultimate tool for dedicated trolling anglers with the DAM Nova Planer spinning rod. Specifically engineered to master the art of fishing with side planers, this rod stands as a testament to purpose-built design and exceptional performance. Whether you are targeting elusive trout in vast lakes, powerful salmon in deep reservoirs, or cunning zander and pike along drop-offs, the Nova Planer is crafted to elevate your trolling efficiency and success rate, providing an unmatched advantage on the water.

The core of the Nova Planer’s design lies in its unique and specialized action, developed with the singular focus of optimizing planer board trolling. It features a beautifully progressive, semi-parabolic curve that is absolutely essential for this demanding technique. This thoughtful engineering allows the rod to load up perfectly under the constant pressure of a pulling planer board, yet it remains sensitive enough to clearly transmit the subtle signals of a bite. When a fish strikes, the blank absorbs the initial shock with incredible efficiency, preventing the hook from tearing out, a common frustration when using rods not suited for this method. This forgiving action maintains constant, even pressure on the fish throughout the fight, dramatically reducing the chances of a lost catch and giving you the confidence to battle trophies.

While its tip section is forgiving, the DAM Nova Planer possesses a formidable backbone in its lower section. This reserve of power is critical for driving hooks home, especially when fishing with long lines, and provides the necessary leverage to control large, hard-fighting fish. You will have the authority to steer fish away from obstacles and guide them towards the net, even from a distance. The rod’s balance and handling are meticulously refined, ensuring it sits comfortably in the rod holder for hours on end. The guide train is configured for optimal line flow and durability, capable of withstanding the continuous strain and friction inherent in trolling applications, ensuring smooth performance trip after trip.

The ergonomic and highly functional handle design provides a secure and comfortable grip, which is invaluable when you need to quickly grab the rod from its holder to set the hook or battle a fish. Every element is designed to work in harmony, creating a reliable and effective system for the serious trolling enthusiast. Part of the acclaimed DAM Nova series, this rod delivers the brand´s signature combination of modern aesthetics, innovative functionality, and outstanding value. It makes specialized, high-performance trolling techniques accessible to a wider range of anglers who refuse to compromise on their equipment. Step up your trolling game and experience the remarkable difference a purpose-built rod can make. Choose the DAM Nova Planer spinning rod and turn every outing into a more productive and enjoyable adventure
