DTD Red Killer Bukva 2.5: The Ultimate Luminous Squid Jig for Eging

Unleash the lethal effectiveness of the DTD Red Killer Bukva 2.5, a revolutionary lure meticulously engineered for catching squid from the boat. As a formidable evolution in the esteemed DTD lineup, the RED KILLER builds upon the success of its famous predecessor, the White Killer Bukva. This new iteration introduces a striking, bright red body, creating a visual stimulus that squid and cuttlefish find impossible to ignore. Designed specifically for the art of Eging, this squid jig is a must-have in any serious angler´s arsenal, delivering unparalleled performance in a variety of light and water conditions.

The genius of the Red Killer Bukva lies in its multi-faceted approach to visual attraction. During daytime fishing, visibility is paramount. The label on the top of the product is UV active, a feature that dramatically increases the lure´s visibility under sunlight. This UV foil captures and reflects ultraviolet light, which penetrates deeper into the water than the visible spectrum, making the jig pop and stand out to cephalopods hunting from below. This is further enhanced by the lure’s transparent contrast effect, which creates a distinct and enticing silhouette against any background, from clear blue water to murky green depths.

As the sun sets or when fishing in deeper, darker waters, the Red Killer truly comes alive. The entire body is a red luminous material, emitting a powerful and consistent glow after being charged with a light source. This is complemented by a special label on the side of the lure that produces a strong blue glow effect. The science behind this dual-glow system is what sets it apart. The blue light, due to its specific wavelength, is exceptionally visible at sea and is known to be a key trigger for predatory cephalopods. This combination of a red luminous body and a strong blue glow creates a unique, pulsating light signature that increases the lure’s visibility in dark conditions, drawing squid in from a distance.

Beyond its incredible visual properties, the DTD Red Killer Bukva 2.5 boasts features designed for superior action and durability. The lure is equipped with active silicone fins on its sides. These fins are not merely cosmetic; they flutter and vibrate with the slightest current or rod movement, perfectly mimicking the subtle motions of a distressed shrimp or small fish. This realistic, life-like action is crucial for fooling wary squid and provoking aggressive, decisive strikes. Every component is built for reliability, ensuring you can fish with confidence. The lure is finished with exceptionally sharp stainless steel crowns for a secure hookset and a high-quality stainless steel swivel that prevents line twist, allowing for a perfect presentation on every drop.
