Echomax EM230 MIDI Passive Radar Reflector

ECHOMAX EM230 MIDI Passive Radar Reflector | Enhanced Marine Safety

Ensure your vessel is seen with the ECHOMAX EM230 MIDI, a leading passive radar reflector designed for uncompromising safety at sea. An essential piece of safety equipment for sailing yachts, motor cruisers, and RIBs, the EM230 MIDI significantly enhances your radar signature, making you clearly visible to radar-equipped vessels in all weather conditions, day or night. Don´t leave your visibility to chance; invest in the peace of mind that comes with superior detection.

The primary benefit of the EM230 MIDI lies in its exceptional performance. By providing a consistently large and reliable radar echo, it helps prevent collisions in busy shipping lanes, poor visibility, or heavy seas. Unlike active radar enhancers, this passive system requires no power, ensuring it is always operational and ready to protect you and your crew. Its robust, maintenance-free design means you can install it and trust it to perform for years to come.

Unmatched Radar Visibility and Certified Performance

At the heart of the ECHOMAX EM230 MIDI is its impressive ability to make your boat appear as a much larger target on a radar screen. This is achieved through a sophisticated internal array that delivers a massive reflective area. As one of the most effective passive Reflectors available, it meets and exceeds stringent international standards. The EM230 MIDI is homologated for World Sailing - OSR (Offshore Special Regulations), making it a trusted choice for competitive offshore racers and discerning cruising sailors alike who demand certified performance and reliability.

Key Features:

* Exceptional Radar Cross Section: Boasts an incredible 20m² maximum reflective area, ensuring a strong and consistent return signal.
* Power-Free, Passive Operation: Offers 24/7 reliability without draining your vessel´s batteries or requiring any electrical connection.
* World Sailing Approved: Fully compliant with Offshore Special Regulations (OSR), making it suitable for sanctioned racing events and long-distance cruising.
* Durable, All-Weather Construction: Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, providing long-lasting performance.
* Versatile Mounting Options: Designed for easy installation on the mast, masthead, or deck, with options for halyard hoisting for temporary use.

Robust Construction for the Marine Environment

Engineered for durability, the ECHOMAX EM230 MIDI is made of reflective aluminium sheets enclosed in a polyethylene case. This robust, UV-stabilized casing protects the precision-engineered internal stacked array from water ingress, salt spray, and physical damage, ensuring its reflective capability is never compromised. This thoughtful construction guarantees a long service life, making it a wise and lasting investment in your vessel´s safety profile.

Equip your boat with the ECHOMAX EM230 MIDI Passive Radar Reflector and navigate with the confidence that you are clearly visible to surrounding traffic.
