Fox International Flat Unhooking Mat

Ensure the ultimate safety and care for your prized catch with the Fox International Flat Unhooking Mat, a cornerstone piece of fishing equipment for the conscientious angler. Designed for those who value mobility without compromising on fish welfare, this mat combines practical design with the renowned quality of Fox International. It´s the perfect solution for anglers who are always on the move, from stalking carp in tight swims to roving along riverbanks in search of specimen fish.

The Fox International Flat Unhooking Mat is essential for mobile anglers prioritizing fish safety and portability. This lightweight, compact mat offers superior protection for your catch with its dual-layer mattress, safeguarding delicate fish on hard ground. It rolls up easily, secured by elasticated loops, weighing just 650g. Ideal for stalking and roving, its durable polyester construction and iconic Fox camo pattern make it a practical, stylish addition to your fishing equipment. The generous padding provides a crucial barrier between your catch and potentially harmful bankside debris like gravel and stones, helping to protect the fish´s delicate slime coat and prevent injury during unhooking and photography.

Engineered for convenience, the mat’s roll-up design is a game-changer for transport and storage. Once your session is complete, it packs down into a remarkably small, cylindrical shape, held securely by two integrated elasticated loops. This compact form allows it to be effortlessly attached to the outside of a rucksack or carryall, leaving valuable internal space free for other essential tackle. Its incredibly low weight means you´ll barely notice it´s there, making it the ideal companion for long treks and opportunistic sessions where a minimalist setup is key. The mat’s robust outer material is built to withstand the rigours of the bank, offering excellent durability session after session, while the fish-friendly inner surface is smooth and easy to wipe clean.
