Gill Junior Pro Drysuit: Ultimate All-Weather Protection for Young Sailors

Equip your young adventurer with the ultimate defence against the elements with the Gill Junior Pro Drysuit. Engineered specifically for the smaller frame, this high-performance garment is one of the most crucial pieces of kit for any aspiring dinghy sailor or watersports enthusiast. Part of our extensive collection of technical kids´ clothing and sailing Suits, the Pro Drysuit ensures your child stays completely warm, dry, and comfortable, allowing them to focus on learning, competing, and having fun on the water, no matter the conditions. Forget the cold and wet; this suit provides a reliable barrier, extending their time and enjoyment in challenging weather.

Key Benefits for Peak Performance and Comfort

The Gill Junior Pro Drysuit is designed from the ground up to meet the demands of active young athletes. The primary benefit is its exceptional ability to keep water out, ensuring your child remains dry even during full immersion or in heavy spray. This complete dryness is fundamental to preventing heat loss, keeping them warm and safe for longer periods. Beyond just being waterproof, the suit is highly breathable, allowing perspiration and excess moisture to escape. This crucial feature prevents the clammy, uncomfortable feeling that can occur during strenuous activity, regulating their temperature for consistent comfort. Durability is built into its DNA, with reinforced areas that withstand the bumps, scrapes, and constant movement associated with sailing, ensuring a long-lasting investment that can handle multiple seasons of rigorous use.

Advanced Features for the Aspiring Professional

Every detail of the Junior Pro Drysuit is thoughtfully crafted for functionality and ease of use. A robust YKK AQUASEAL® waterproof front-entry zipper makes getting in and out of the suit quick and simple, promoting independence. For added convenience during long days, a waterproof relief zipper is also included.

Comfort is paramount, which is why the suit features soft GlideSkin neoprene seals at the neck and cuffs. These provide a secure, watertight fit without the chafing or restriction of traditional latex, making it ideal for sensitive skin. To ensure a perfect, non-sagging fit that can adapt to growth spurts, the suit is equipped with internal adjustable elasticated braces. This system keeps the suit securely in place during dynamic movements. Integrated fabric socks are far more comfortable and durable than latex alternatives, sliding easily into sailing boots and adding to the overall warmth and comfort.
