Groco 38 mm thru-hull

GROCO 38mm (1-1/2") Bronze Thru-Hull Fitting | Marine Grade, UL Listed

Ensure the safety and integrity of your vessel with the GROCO 38 mm (1-1/2 inch) Bronze Thru-Hull, the definitive choice for discerning boat owners and marine professionals. As a critical component in your boat´s plumbing system, a thru-hull fitting must provide unwavering reliability below the waterline. This premium fitting from GROCO is engineered to exceed the most rigorous industry standards, offering you unparalleled peace of mind whether you are moored at the dock or navigating challenging offshore conditions. It´s an essential upgrade for any raw water intake, scupper, or discharge line, forming the bedrock of a secure and efficient marine plumbing setup.

Superior Safety and Certified Reliability

When it comes to fittings below the waterline, there can be no compromise. The GROCO 38 mm thru-hull is UL Listed, a certification that signifies it has passed stringent testing for strength, durability, and material integrity. This is not just a feature; it´s your assurance against catastrophic failure. Furthermore, it is designed and manufactured to be compliant with ABYC H-27 standards, the benchmark for seacock and thru-hull installations in the marine industry. Choosing a certified component like this can be a critical factor for vessel insurance and survey requirements, but more importantly, it is a fundamental investment in the safety of your boat and everyone aboard.

Built for the Harshest Marine Environments

Constructed from a high-strength, corrosion-resistant marine bronze alloy, this thru-hull is designed to endure constant exposure to saltwater and harsh underwater elements. Unlike inferior fittings that can quickly degrade and become a point of failure, the GROCO thru-hull promises exceptional longevity and robust performance year after year. The design includes a heavy-duty flange nut, which provides a broad, stable base to spread the load against the hull. This prevents stress cracking and ensures a more secure, watertight seal when installed with the proper sealant and backing block, making it the ideal foundation for connecting a seacock.

Optimized for Maximum Water Flow

Efficiency is key to the performance of your boat’s systems. This thru-hull features a full-flow, non-restrictive internal design. This ensures that your engine´s cooling system, bilge pumps, or livewell intakes receive the maximum water volume possible, allowing them to operate at peak efficiency. The smooth, parallel NPSM threads are specifically designed for a secure and proper connection with a corresponding marine seacock or ball valve, creating a solid, leak-proof assembly that you can depend on.
