ILBA Tondo 3 Spoon 7g | Classic French Spinner Lure

Discover the legendary performance of the ILBA Tondo 3, a 7g spoon that embodies the pinnacle of classic lure design. The ILBA Tondo is more than just a fishing spinner; it´s a piece of angling history, revered and trusted by generations of spinning enthusiasts. As the quintessential French type blade spinner, its design has been perfected over decades to deliver unparalleled results, making it one of the most used and appreciated lures in the world.

The Tondo´s reputation is built on its immediate and consistent action in the water. The moment you begin your retrieve, the classic French blade comes to life, rotating with a wide, enticing arc. This movement generates powerful, low-frequency vibrations that travel through the water, calling in predatory fish from a distance. The blade’s spin is stable and effective across a wide range of retrieval speeds, from a slow, methodical crawl in cold water to a fast burn to trigger aggressive reaction strikes. This versatility allows you to adapt your presentation instantly to the mood of the fish and the conditions of the day.

A timeless classic, the Tondo features the traditional spotted livery on a polished metal base. This iconic pattern is not just for show; it´s a proven fish-catcher. The combination of the metallic flash and the contrasting spots creates a highly visible and stimulating target that mimics the appearance of fleeing baitfish or other natural prey. This visual appeal, combined with the lure’s irresistible vibration, makes it a deadly effective tool for a vast array of species, including trout, perch, chub, and smaller pike.

This specific model, the Tondo No. 3, weighs in at a versatile 7 grams, placing it perfectly within the ´1-10 gr´ class for light to medium spinning tackle. It is an ideal choice for targeting fish in rivers, streams, and lakes where precision casting and a natural presentation are key to success.
