KOKATAT Proteus Life Jacket: Ultimate Comfort and Freedom for Every Paddler

Experience a new level of comfort on the water with the KOKATAT Proteus Life Jacket, meticulously engineered for recreational and touring paddlers who refuse to compromise on safety or mobility. Designed to feel like a natural extension of your body, the Proteus allows you to focus on the beauty of your surroundings and the joy of paddling, whether you´re on a calm lake or a coastal tour. It´s built for all-day wear, eliminating the bulky, restrictive feeling of traditional PFDs and letting you move with complete freedom.

Our most comfortable life vest ever, thanks to soft, Gaia® PVC-free foam that´s cut and sculpted into body mapped, floating panels.

Each foam panel is precisely slit to provide an adaptable and ergonomic fit, wrapping the torso in secure comfort.

A soft 100D stretch polyester envelope finishes off this high-back recreational life vest, with fleece-lined hand warmer pockets for the colder days.

The innovative design of the Proteus directly addresses the needs of modern kayakers. Its high-back flotation is specifically configured to fit seamlessly with the high-back seats found in today´s most popular recreational and touring kayaks. This thoughtful construction prevents the vest from riding up or interfering with your seat, ensuring you can lean back and paddle comfortably for hours on end without constant readjustment.

Achieving a perfect, secure fit is effortless thanks to multiple adjustment points. The contoured, adjustable shoulder straps and side-entry buckles allow you to customize the fit to your unique torso shape, ensuring the vest stays in place during active paddling or in the event of a swim. The convenient front-zip entry makes putting on and taking off the Proteus quick and simple, so you can get on the water faster.

Functionality is at the forefront of the Proteus design. Strategically placed pockets provide ample, secure storage for your essential gear. Keep your phone, snacks, sunscreen, or safety equipment within easy reach in the large, zippered front pockets. For added safety in low-light conditions, the vest is accented with reflective trim to enhance your visibility to others on the water. It also includes a handy lash tab, perfect for attaching a rescue knife or strobe light. Certified by the US Coast Guard as a Type III PFD, the KOKATAT Proteus Life Jacket is the ultimate fusion of safety, function, and unparalleled comfort for your next paddling adventure
