Korum Xpert Maggot barbless single eyed hook

KORUM Xpert Maggot Barbless Single Eyed Hook

Discover the ultimate hook designed for one of the most effective baits in angling. The KORUM Xpert Maggot Barbless Single Eyed Hook is a masterpiece of precision engineering, meticulously developed to help you convert more bites into successfully landed fish. Born from a unique collaboration, this hook addresses a specific demand from the angling community for a superior, reliable, and purpose-built maggot hook.

This exceptional hook was created following extensive input from both our expert consultancy team and passionate Korum fans on our social media channels. The community called for a dedicated maggot hook that featured a secure eye, providing enhanced confidence and security when playing big, hard-fighting fish. We listened, and the Xpert Maggot hook is the definitive result of that collaborative design process.

At the heart of its design is a special crystal bend, a key innovation that sets this hook apart. This carefully crafted shape is not merely for aesthetics; it serves the critical function of positioning your maggot or maggot cluster in the optimum position to entice a confident take and guarantee a perfect hook hold. This unique geometry ensures that the super-sharp hook point is perfectly exposed, leading to more effective and immediate penetration upon the strike. With the Xpert Maggot hook, you can be certain that your bait presentation is always working to its maximum potential.

The inclusion of a precisely formed eye offers a significant advantage over traditional spade-end hooks, especially when targeting larger specimens. This feature allows for the use of a wider range of knots and provides a far stronger, more reliable connection to your hooklength. This gives you the crucial confidence to apply pressure during a fight, knowing your terminal connection is secure, making it ideal for modern commercial fishery tactics where carp, F1s, tench, and bream are the target.

Crafted for performance, the barbless design promotes exceptional fish welfare, allowing for quick, clean, and easy unhooking. This is essential for today´s catch-and-release angler and is a mandatory requirement on countless fisheries. The barbless point also offers a superior hooking advantage, requiring less force to penetrate and ensuring even the most delicate of bites can be converted. Each hook features a chemically sharpened point that is incredibly sharp and durable, maintaining its piercing capability fish after fish.

Whether you are employing maggot feeder tactics, fishing the pole with a hair-rigged maggot clip, or engaging in classic float fishing techniques, the KORUM Xpert Maggot hook is the definitive choice for the discerning angler seeking to gain an edge.
