Major Craft Firstcast Eging Rod

Embark on your eging journey with confidence with the MAJOR CRAFT Firstcast Egging Rod, a masterpiece of design and functionality created for both aspiring and seasoned anglers. Specifically engineered for the intricate art of squid and cephalopod fishing, this rod provides a high-performance experience, making it the perfect first step into the exciting world of eging. The Firstcast series is renowned for its user-friendly design, built on the principle that every angler deserves a tool that feels like a natural extension of their arm from the very first cast.

The blank is engineered to be incredibly forgiving and easy to handle, helping you master the sharp, rhythmic ´shakuri´ jerks essential for attracting squid. It effortlessly loads and casts egi lures, helping you achieve impressive distances to cover more water and reach promising spots. Despite its accessible nature, this rod does not compromise on sensitivity. You will be able to feel every subtle touch, from a curious squid´s tentative grasp to the lure’s contact with the seabed, ensuring you can set the hook at the perfect moment. This heightened feedback is crucial for success in eging, and the Firstcast delivers it with clarity. Its lightweight and balanced construction ensures that you can fish for hours without fatigue, focusing purely on the thrill of the pursuit.

While its primary design is for targeting squid and cuttlefish, its versatility is a significant advantage for any angler´s collection.

Excellent for spinning.

This rod has Fuji components and a grip made of high-density EVA.

The inclusion of world-renowned Fuji components ensures superior line management, reduced friction for longer, smoother casts, and exceptional durability to withstand the rigors of a saltwater environment. The ergonomic grip, fashioned from high-density EVA, provides a firm, comfortable hold in all weather conditions. This guarantees perfect control during aggressive jerks and reduces hand fatigue during long fishing sessions, allowing you to stay focused and ready for action. The two-piece design offers excellent portability without sacrificing the smooth, responsive action of a one-piece rod, making it easy to transport to your favorite coastal spots.
