Maver Darkside Universal Teflon spare spool

Unleash the full casting potential of your big pit reel with the MAVER Darkside Universal Teflon Spare Spool. Expertly engineered for the discerning angler who demands maximum performance and versatility, this spare spool is a game-changing upgrade for long-distance fishing. Whether you are a dedicated surf-caster aiming for the horizon or a specimen carp angler needing to reach distant features, the Darkside Universal Teflon Spool is designed to help you cast further and more accurately than ever before.

The primary advantage of this spool lies in its specialized design, featuring an ideal match profile. This shallow, tapered construction allows your fishing line to peel off with minimal friction and resistance during the cast. The result is a smoother, more controlled line-flow that translates directly into increased distance and precision. Combined with the inherent low-friction properties of its Teflon construction, this spool is a masterclass in casting efficiency, allowing you to present your bait exactly where the fish are, even at extreme ranges.

One of the most significant features is its groundbreaking universal design. Thanks to precision-engineered thicknesses, this spare spool is crafted to be compatible with a vast array of popular 10.000 size big pit reels available on the market. This remarkable versatility means you can upgrade your existing reel setup without being locked into a single brand or model, giving you the freedom to achieve superior casting performance from your trusted equipment.

Performance is further enhanced by its incredibly low weight. Tipping the scales at a mere 56 grams, this spool significantly reduces the overall rotational mass of your reel. This reduction in weight not only helps in achieving a faster, snappier cast but also contributes to better rod and reel balance, reducing angler fatigue during prolonged sessions of repeated casting. With a generous line capacity ready to hold 390 meters of 0.20mm nylon, it offers ample room for modern thin-diameter lines, ensuring you have enough line to handle long casts and powerful, running fish. The spool is also built to complement high-performance drag systems, engineered to work seamlessly with the formidable 18kg of drag power characteristic of the Darkside reel series.
