Mikado Hanger indicator

MIKADO Hanger Indicator – Ultra-Sensitive Bite Detection for the Discerning Angler

Elevate your bite indication game with the MIKADO Hanger Indicator, an essential piece of fishing equipment for any serious carp and specimen angler. Designed for precision, reliability, and unparalleled sensitivity, this indicator ensures you never miss a take, no matter how subtle. It is the perfect fusion of classic design and modern functionality, engineered to provide crystal-clear feedback from your line to your bite alarm.

Simple yet smart at the same time, this hanger-type carp bite indicator is meticulously crafted to give you a distinct advantage on the bank. Its core design philosophy revolves around providing flawless indication for even the wariest of fish. A soft arm and a heavy head facilitate line tensioning and perfectly signals even the most delicate bite attempts. The MIKADO Hanger is a great alarm in particular for gently feeding carps and grass carps, which are notorious for their cautious and subtle takes. This indicator excels in detecting both positive runs and critical "drop-back" bites, where a fish swims towards you, creating slack in the line.

Key Benefits for a Successful Session:

* Exceptional Sensitivity: Detect the slightest line movements and drop-backs that other indicators might miss. The free-moving arm and weighted head combination is perfectly balanced to register every touch, giving you the crucial seconds needed to react.
* Optimal Line Tension: The weight of the indicator head ensures your line remains perfectly taut between your rod tip and your lead system, eliminating false bleeps caused by wind, undertow, or surface drift. This results in more confident and accurate bite alarms.
* Versatile Performance: Whether you are fishing with tight lines at range or employing a slack-line approach for margin work, the MIKADO Hanger adapts to your strategy, providing reliable performance in a wide variety of angling situations.

Main Features:

The MIKADO Hanger Indicator is packed with features designed for performance and convenience. It features a flexible, soft-arm chain that allows for unrestricted movement and maximum sensitivity without spooking cautious fish. The aerodynamically designed, weighted head provides unwavering stability in windy conditions. A precision-engineered, adjustable line clip securely grips your mainline without causing any damage, and can be fine-tuned for different line diameters and desired release tensions. For seamless integration with your setup, it includes a standard jack plug to connect to most modern bite alarms, enabling the illumination feature. The indicator also comes with a robust "hockey stick" style adapter for quick and secure mounting beneath your bite alarm on any bankstick or rod pod.
