Mikado M Craft spoon 4.7g

MIKADO M-Craft Spoon 4.7g | Ultimate Long-Casting Trout Lure

Unlock the secret to reaching distant, wary fish with the MIKADO M-Craft Spoon 4.7g. Engineered for performance and precision, this lure is a masterpiece of design, born from the collective expertise of the entire Mikado pro-fishing team. It stands as a testament to what happens when passion for angling meets innovative lure creation, resulting in a brilliant trout spoon that consistently outperforms the competition. If you´re looking to elevate your light-tackle game for trout, perch, and chub, the M-Craft is your definitive advantage.

The core philosophy behind the M-Craft spoon is simple: maximum casting distance with a minimal profile. Its relatively high weight is packed into a compact, aerodynamic body, allowing you to make impressively long and accurate casts, even against the wind. This capability is crucial for reaching fish holding in the middle of a river, on the far bank of a stream, or in deep sections of a lake that are inaccessible with lighter lures. Falling perfectly within the versatile ´1-10 gr´ lure category, this 4.7g model offers the ideal balance of casting power and subtle presentation, making it a go-to choice for a vast range of fishing scenarios.

Unleash a Provocative Action

In the water, the M-Craft Spoon comes alive with a dynamic and enticing action that predators find impossible to ignore. On a steady retrieve, it produces a pronounced, side-to-side wobble that sends out powerful vibrations and visual flashes through the water column. Vary your retrieve speed to alter the intensity of the wobble, mimicking everything from a leisurely baitfish to one fleeing in panic. Furthermore, its performance on the fall is exceptional. During a pause or on a slack line, the spoon flutters and flashes erratically as it sinks, imitating a wounded or dying fish—a key trigger for opportunistic strikes from following predators.

Designed by Experts, For Anglers

These brilliant trout spoons are available in three sizes, with this 4.7g version being a superb all-rounder. Each lure is finished in a series of unique, meticulously tested paintings. These colour patterns were not chosen at random; they are the result of countless hours of on-the-water testing by the Mikado team across Europe. From natural, imitative patterns for clear water and sunny days to bright, provocative colours for stained water or low-light conditions, there is an M-Craft colour to match any situation and fool the most cautious of fish. Equipped with an ultra-sharp, high-quality single hook, it ensures excellent hook-up ratios while minimizing damage to the fish, making it ideal for catch-and-release angling.
