Designed for the modern angler who demands performance, precision, and the ability to adapt in seconds, this system redefines what’s possible on the bank. Whether you are a competitive match angler or a dedicated pleasure fisherman, the Douglas QMF feeder is engineered to give you a distinct advantage, maximizing your fishing time and boosting your catch rate.

The Game-Changing Q.M.F. (Quick Method Feeder) System

At the heart of this product is Mikado´s revolutionary Quick Method Feeder (Q.M.F.) system. This is the new version of the great Douglas Method Feeders, built around a principle of ultimate convenience. The Q.M.F. is a system that allows you to quickly and easily exchange the feeder without a need to re-rig it. Imagine the scenario: the fish have moved further out, or the feeding activity has changed, requiring a different weight. Traditionally, this meant cutting your line and starting over. With the Douglas QMF, all you need to do is to remove the rubber tube, slide the current feeder off the pin, and exchange it for another one. This seamless process takes mere seconds, allowing you to make on-the-fly tactical adjustments without disrupting your rhythm or wasting precious time.

Engineered for Superior Performance

Beyond its innovative exchange system, the MIKADO Douglas QMF feeder is crafted for optimal performance in the water. Its aerodynamic, weight-forward design ensures exceptional casting distance and pinpoint accuracy, allowing you to consistently hit your chosen spot, even at range. The frame is structured to hold groundbait securely during the cast and impact with the water, yet it facilitates a quick and effective release once on the lakebed. This creates a perfect, irresistible pile of bait with your hookbait positioned right in the middle, dramatically increasing your chances of a confident take from wary species like carp, tench, and bream. The feeder’s low profile and subtle colouration ensure it blends seamlessly with the bottom, preventing spooking fish.

This system is the perfect solution for anglers looking to build a versatile feeder kit. By carrying a selection of QMF feeders in different weights, you can be prepared for any condition the water throws at you, all while using a single, streamlined rig setup. Spend less time fiddling with tackle and more time with your bait in the water, where it counts.
