MIKADO Strainer Bait Box 1.5L | Ultimate Bait Preparation & Storage Solution

Elevate your bait management and gain a competitive edge on the bank with the MIKADO Strainer Bait Box 1.5L. This expertly designed piece of fishing equipment is an indispensable tool for the modern coarse, match, and feeder angler who demands precision, efficiency, and versatility. Move beyond basic containers and discover a system engineered to perfect your bait presentation, keeping it in prime condition from the moment you prepare it to the moment it´s on your hook or in your feeder.

The true genius of this product lies in its multi-functional, two-part design. It is a closed box with a strainer intended mainly for soaking pellets, but also great for storing mixed bait, keeping worms in water or sifting bloodworms. This versatility makes it one of the most useful items in any angler´s collection of Bait Boxes.

Achieve Perfectly Soaked Pellets Every Time

Say goodbye to the guesswork and frustration of preparing pellets. The integrated strainer is the key to achieving the perfect, uniform consistency that fish find irresistible. Simply place your expander or hard pellets in the strainer, submerge them in water for the required time, and then lift the strainer out. Excess water drains away instantly, preventing your pellets from becoming over-soaked, mushy, or unusable. This simple process ensures you have perfectly prepared, tacky pellets that are ideal for moulding around a method feeder or for loose feeding.

Unmatched Versatility for All Your Bait Needs

While it excels as a pellet soaker, the MIKADO Strainer Bait Box is a true workhorse. Use the main 1.5-litre container on its own to mix and store groundbait, keeping it fresh and at the right moisture level thanks to the secure, well-fitting lid. For live bait enthusiasts, the system is perfect for keeping worms or leeches. Place your worms in the strainer with a small amount of water in the box below to keep them clean, cool, and lively throughout your session. It´s also an exceptional tool for cleaning and sifting bloodworms or joker, separating the fresh bait from debris and water with ease.

Designed for the Practical Angler

Built for convenience and durability, this bait box features a compact and stackable square design that makes it easy to transport and store within your carryall or on your side tray. The secure lid fits snugly, preventing accidental spills during transit and protecting your bait from the elements, whether it´s drying sun or unwanted rain. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of regular use on the bankside, providing reliable performance season after season.
