Mivardi Breaking Set snap swivel

MIVARDI Breaking Set Snap Swivel: The Ultimate in Rig Safety and Performance

Elevate your carp fishing with the MIVARDI Breaking Set Snap Swivel, an essential piece of terminal tackle designed for the conscientious angler who demands both peak performance and uncompromising fish welfare. Engineered for creating advanced, safe lead systems, this set is the cornerstone of modern helicopter and chod rigs, providing a critical advantage in challenging, snag-filled waters. Move beyond standard setups and embrace a system that actively works to protect your catch and increase your landing success rate.

The primary benefit of the MIVARDI Breaking Set is its intelligent safety mechanism. When fishing in weedy or snaggy environments, the risk of a lead getting caught is high. In a traditional setup, this can result in a lost fish or, worse, a fish left tethered to a snagged lead. This innovative set is designed to release the lead under a specific, controlled pressure, ensuring that in the event of a snag during the fight, the fish can break free from the heavy weight, allowing you to continue the battle and safely land your prize. This single feature dramatically boosts your landing rate and embodies the principles of responsible angling.

Key Features for a Decisive Edge:

* Integrated Safety Release System: The core of the set, this mechanism is precision-engineered to jettison the lead when it becomes snagged, providing an unparalleled level of fish safety.
* High-Strength Rotating Swivel: A super-strong, free-spinning swivel (size 8) ensures your rig can rotate naturally, preventing tangles during the cast and on the lakebed, which is crucial for perfect presentation of helicopter and chod rigs.
* Quick-Change Snap Link: Efficiency is key on the bank. The robust snap link allows for instant and secure attachment or replacement of your rigs, saving you valuable time without compromising on strength or reliability.
* Streamlined Anti-Tangle Protectors: The set includes perfectly matched sleeves that slide over the connections. These Protectors create a smooth, streamlined profile that minimises tangles during flight and ensures your rig settles correctly every time. The matt, non-reflective finish provides excellent camouflage against the lakebed, preventing spooking wary carp.

Building the Ultimate High-Performance Rig

While the Breaking Set perfects the safety and mechanics of your lead system, a truly effective presentation requires attention to detail at the business end of your rig. To achieve superior hook-holds and turn more pickups into landed fish, consider complementing your setup with specialised components.

Mini rig aligners with optimum stiffness.

The aligners help the hook to be rotated into a crucial position when the carp is feeding on the bait.

By combining the safety of the MIVARDI Breaking Set with the aggressive hooking mechanics of a well-tuned rig aligner, you create a complete system that is safe, efficient, and incredibly effective.

Trust in MIVARDI´s innovation to give you the confidence to fish any swim, knowing your terminal tackle is optimised for both performance and protection. It´s an indispensable component for any serious carp angler´s tackle box.
