MUSTAD Daggerman Jig 150g - The Ultimate Vertical Jig for Aggressive Predators

Dominate the deep and trigger explosive strikes from the ocean´s most formidable predators with the MUSTAD Daggerman jig 150g. Expertly engineered for the demanding world of vertical jigging, this lure is your premier weapon when targeting trophy fish that demand a specific and provocative presentation. The Daggerman is not just another jig; it is a precision instrument designed to outsmart and out-attract the apex hunters of the blue water.

The core of its effectiveness lies in its unique design and action in the water. The Daggerman jig is a 60:40 front-weighted vertical jig specially designed for aggressive predators like amberjacks, yellowtails, and Dogtooth tunas. The Daggerman is best presented in short, rapid pumps with short pauses in between. The aerodynamically shaped Daggerman rips through the water column, drawing the attention of a nearby predator, and during the short pause, immediately dips head down, resembling the natural movement of a struggling baitfish. Most hits are usually encountered right after the pause.

This meticulously balanced, front-weighted design ensures an incredibly fast and direct descent, allowing you to reach the strike zone quickly and efficiently, even in strong currents or deep-water columns. Its sleek, aerodynamic profile minimizes water resistance on the drop, spending less time sinking and more time fishing. This rapid descent is the first step in capturing the attention of deep-dwelling species.

Once in the strike zone, the Daggerman´s true magic is unleashed. The "short pump" technique causes the jig to dart erratically, but it´s the pause that seals the deal. The immediate head-down dip creates a powerful visual trigger, perfectly mimicking a disoriented or injured baitfish trying to flee—a signal that no predator can ignore. This vulnerable posture provokes an instinctual and often violent reaction strike from fish like powerful amberjacks, hard-fighting groupers, samson fish, and other pelagic and reef-dwelling hunters. Elevate your saltwater fishing game and add the MUSTAD Daggerman 150g to your arsenal for your next vertical jigging adventure.
