Okuma Cedros spinning reel

OKUMA Cedros Spinning Reel

Dominate the saltwater arena with the OKUMA Cedros Spinning Reel, a powerhouse of performance engineered for the most demanding angling conditions. Built from the ground up to battle big, aggressive fish, the Cedros combines raw strength with refined technology, giving you the upper hand in every fight. Whether you´re casting for trophy species from the shore or wrestling giants in the deep blue, this spinning reel is your ultimate ally, delivering unparalleled reliability and power when it matters most.

The core of the Cedros´ incredible performance lies in its sophisticated engineering. Experience unmatched stopping power and control with the Precision Dual Force Drag (DFD) system. This innovative design utilizes both the top and bottom surfaces of the spool to apply balanced drag pressure, ensuring extreme smoothness and stability during long, blistering runs. The multi-disc drag adjustment allows for incredibly precise settings, so you can dial in the perfect amount of pressure for any situation. Despite its immense strength, the Cedros remains remarkably light and manageable for all-day casting, thanks to the innovative LITECAST body construction, which is a full 15% lighter than previous generations without sacrificing an ounce of rigidity.

Harsh saltwater environments are no match for the Cedros. It features OKUM´s proprietary Corrosion Resistant Coating (CRC) process, which penetrates and bonds to the metal, providing exceptional long-term protection against the elements. This is complemented by the HDGII High-Density Gearing, which is not only incredibly strong but also highly resistant to corrosion. The result is a reel that performs as flawlessly on its hundredth trip as it did on its first. The ultra-smooth retrieve and solid feel come from a precision-engineered system of 6HPB + 1RB corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearings and a machine-cut brass pinion gear, all working in perfect harmony. With the Cedros in hand, you fish with the confidence that your gear is built to last.
