OKUMA Custom Carp Fishing Reel: Precision Engineering for the Dedicated Angler

Elevate your carp fishing experience with the OKUMA Custom Carp Fishing Reel, a masterclass in precision, power, and long-range performance. Designed specifically for the discerning carp angler who demands reliability and control, this reel is your trusted companion in the pursuit of trophy fish. From the moment you engage the handle, you´ll feel the superior craftsmanship and thoughtful engineering that sets OKUMA apart. It’s built not just to catch fish, but to provide the confidence and performance needed to master the water, cast after cast, season after season.

The heart of the Custom Carp reel is its exceptionally smooth and robust drive system. Powered by a 3+1 stainless steel bearing configuration, it delivers a silky retrieve and effortless cranking power, essential when playing a hard-fighting carp. This is perfectly complemented by the Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing, which provides instantaneous handle engagement and zero back-play for rock-solid, immediate hook sets. Every turn of the aluminum regular handle feels connected and responsive, giving you the ultimate control during the most critical moments of the fight.

Casting performance is paramount in modern carp fishing, and the OKUMA Custom excels in this domain. The advanced Worm Shaft Transmission System ensures a perfect, even line lay on the spool. This meticulous line management works in harmony with the LCS (Line Control Spool) design, which features an angled lip to significantly reduce friction as the line peels off during a cast. The result is a dramatic increase in casting distance and accuracy, allowing you to reach distant features and feeding spots with ease. The Even Flow Roller further enhances performance by minimizing line twist, preserving the integrity of your mainline and ensuring flawless operation.

Durability in all conditions is guaranteed by OKUMA’s proprietary Hydro Block system. This innovative feature creates a watertight seal around the front drag system, protecting the critical drag washers from water, sand, and dirt. This protection ensures your drag remains consistently smooth and reliable, providing the stopping power you need without the risk of failure due to contamination. The machine-cut anodized aluminum spool is both lightweight for casting and incredibly tough to withstand the pressures of heavy-duty use. For ultimate versatility, this reel also includes a valuable extra spool, allowing you to quickly switch between different line types or have a backup ready to go at a moment´s notice.

The OKUMA Custom Carp Fishing Reel is more than just a piece of equipment; it´s a high-performance tool engineered to give you the edge.
