Plastimo 5 Steps Safety Ladder

Ensure the utmost safety and preparedness on your vessel with the PLASTIMO 5 Steps Safety Ladder, a crucial addition to your boat´s safety equipment. Designed specifically for critical man overboard situations, this ladder is an indispensable tool for any conscientious skipper navigating coastal or offshore waters. It provides a reliable and rapid method for re-boarding, significantly increasing the chances of a successful recovery.

The PLASTIMO 5 Steps Safety Ladder is your essential man overboard (MOB) recovery system. This innovative ladder allows a person in the water to deploy it independently, providing a critical self-rescue option. Featuring 5 weighted, rigid steps for stability in choppy seas, it ensures a secure grip for re-boarding. The ladder is stored in a high-visibility, durable bag with two handles for easy mounting and quick release from the water. Enhance your vessel´s safety and gain peace of mind with this compact, user-friendly emergency solution.

In a stressful MOB scenario, a person in the water, potentially exhausted or cold, can easily pull the release handle to deploy the ladder themselves. This empowering self-rescue capability is a paramount feature, reducing panic and dependence on the crew, who may be managing the vessel in difficult conditions. The ladder unfurls instantly, providing an immediate and accessible means of climbing back aboard.

The true innovation lies in its functional design. The five steps are not flimsy webbing; they are rigid and weighted. This ensures they sink below the surface and remain stable, rather than floating away or twisting in the current. This provides a solid and secure foothold, making it far easier for someone to climb, even when wearing heavy, waterlogged clothing or sea boots. The robust construction gives the user confidence with every step.

When not in use, the entire system is contained within a purpose-built storage bag. This high-visibility case is designed for quick identification in an emergency and protects the ladder from UV degradation and harsh marine environments, ensuring it is ready when you need it most. The bag can be easily mounted to the pushpit, guardrails, or transom using its integrated handles and fixing points, ensuring it is always within reach but never in the way. Its compact profile means it won´t clutter your deck space, a vital consideration for any boat owner. Equip your boat with this essential piece of safety gear and sail with the confidence that you are prepared for the unexpected.
