Plastimo Articulated Fender: Unmatched Hull Protection for RIBs and Rounded Hulls

Discover the ultimate solution for protecting your vessel with the innovative Plastimo Articulated Fender. If you´ve ever been frustrated by standard fenders slipping, rolling, or failing to provide adequate coverage on a curved hull, your search for the perfect safeguard ends here. This product is a clever solution created by the Plastimo R & D, specifically adapted to rigid inflatable boats or any boat with a rounded hull. Its unique, intelligent design addresses the shortcomings of traditional cylindrical fenders, offering unparalleled security and peace of mind when mooring or docking.

The core problem with conventional fenders on a RIB or a sailboat with a flared hull is their inability to maintain proper contact. A traditional fender will tilt away from the hull and may eventually slip above or below, whereas the articulated RIB fender follows the curves of the hull and remains in the right position to protect the boat efficiently. Its ingenious hinged construction allows it to wrap around and "hug" the shape of your vessel, providing a broad, stable contact area. This ensures it protects not only the rigid part of your hull but also the vulnerable inflatable tubes of a RIB, preventing scuffs, scratches, and impact damage.

Engineered for the demanding marine environment, the Plastimo Articulated Fender boasts exceptional durability and longevity. It features a robust rotomoulded construction, designed to withstand repeated compression and impacts without losing its shape or protective qualities. To ensure it endures season after season, the material is fully UV protected, preventing it from degrading, cracking, or becoming brittle under harsh sunlight. Available in a classic marine blue or a crisp white colour, it complements the aesthetic of any boat. For your convenience, each fender comes ready to deploy with a 1 m Ø 5 mm rope included.

While specifically designed as the premier choice for rigid inflatable boats, the versatility of the Plastimo Articulated Fender makes it an excellent upgrade for any vessel with pronounced hull curvature. From modern sailboats to motor yachts with rounded topsides, this fender delivers a level of protection that flat or cylindrical models simply cannot match. Invest in the smarter, more effective way to shield your boat from the hazards of the dock, marina, or rafting up with other vessels. Choose the Plastimo Articulated Fender for consistent, reliable, and form-fitting protection that stays exactly where you need it
