Plastimo Base Plate Mooring Bollard

PLASTIMO Base Plate Mooring Bollard | 316 Stainless Steel Deck Fitting

Secure your vessel with confidence and style using the PLASTIMO Base Plate Mooring Bollard, a premium deck fitting designed for uncompromising strength and durability. Engineered for the demanding marine environment, this bollard provides a robust and reliable anchor point for your mooring lines, ensuring your boat remains safely and securely docked in all conditions. As a crucial piece of your boat´s equipment, it represents a long-term investment in safety, performance, and peace of mind.

Unparalleled Durability for Marine Environments

The primary benefit of the PLASTIMO Mooring Bollard lies in its superior construction. Crafted from high-grade 316 stainless steel, it offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, rust, and pitting, even with constant exposure to saltwater, spray, and harsh UV rays. This marine-grade material ensures that the bollard maintains its structural integrity and polished appearance for years, significantly reducing maintenance requirements and replacement costs. Its robust build is designed to withstand the immense and dynamic loads exerted during mooring, providing a steadfast connection you can depend on.

Enhanced Mooring Security and Versatility

Designed as a superior alternative to standard mooring cleats, the classic cross-pin bollard design allows for quick, easy, and highly secure line handling. The substantial cross-arm provides ample surface area for wrapping mooring lines in a figure-eight pattern, which effectively prevents slippage and ensures the line remains firmly in place without the need for complex knots. The solid, wide base plate distributes the mooring load over a larger deck area, minimizing stress on a single point and reducing the risk of damage to your boat´s structure. This makes it an ideal fitting for both bow and stern mooring applications on a wide range of sail and power boats.

Key Features:

* Robust Cross-Pin Design: The classic bollard shape offers a secure and reliable method for fastening mooring lines, providing superior holding power compared to smaller cleats.
* Wide Base Plate: The substantial 92x92 mm square base plate ensures excellent load distribution across the deck, enhancing stability and structural integrity at the mounting point.
* Precision Engineering: Manufactured with precise dimensions, including a standardized 60x60 mm hole pattern, for a straightforward and secure installation on any suitable flat deck surface.
* Polished Finish: The 316 stainless steel is polished to a high-lustre finish, adding a touch of elegance and a professional look to your vessel´s deck hardware.

These screw-type bollards are designed for a permanent, bolted installation, offering a more secure and durable solution than temporary fittings.
