Plastimo Elastic Safety Strap with hook 1.5 m

PLASTIMO 2-Hook Elastic Safety Strap 1.5m | Ultimate Onboard Safety & Mobility

Ensure your safety on deck without compromising on mobility with the PLASTIMO 2-Hook Elastic Safety Strap. Designed for the discerning sailor, this 1.5-meter safety tether is an indispensable piece of equipment for anyone venturing out on the water, from coastal cruisers to competitive offshore racers. It provides a secure connection to your vessel´s jacklines, allowing you to move around the deck with confidence, even in the most challenging conditions. This strap is a critical component in the "Safety" subcategory, offering peace of mind when you need it most.

The primary benefit of this safety strap lies in its intelligent elastic design. The high-resistance webbing expands and contracts as you move, reducing the risk of tripping over slack lines and providing unparalleled freedom of movement. This means you can perform tasks on deck efficiently and comfortably, while always remaining securely attached. The dual-hook configuration offers enhanced versatility, allowing you to stay connected to the boat at all times, even when moving between anchor points—adhering to the best practice of always keeping at least one hook attached.

Advanced Safety Features

This product is engineered with cutting-edge features for your absolute protection and is a leading choice in safety Straps for boats and equipment.

When the cord is subjected to an excessive load, the overload indicator will come out and let a label appear indicating that the cord must be replaced.

Carabiners with double security.

Complies with ISAF / ORC specifications.

This innovative overload indicator is a critical safety element; it provides a clear, visual warning if the strap has been compromised by a significant fall or shock load. This removes any guesswork about the integrity of your equipment, ensuring you replace it when necessary for continued safety. The double-security carabiners are designed to prevent accidental opening, requiring a deliberate two-step action to release, providing a failsafe connection you can trust in rough seas. This level of design and its full compliance with the stringent International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and Offshore Racing Congress specifications makes it a trusted choice for competitive events and serious cruising.
