Plastimo International diving flag

PLASTIMO International Diving Flag | Essential Maritime Safety Signal

Ensure the ultimate safety and regulatory compliance on the water with the PLASTIMO International Diving Flag. As a critical piece of navigation equipment for any vessel engaged in diving operations, this flag is the universally recognized signal to other boats that you have divers in the water and they must keep well clear at a slow speed. Manufactured by PLASTIMO, a trusted name in marine safety, this flag is an indispensable tool for protecting lives and preventing dangerous incidents at sea.

Prioritize Safety with Unmistakable Communication

The primary benefit of the PLASTIMO International Diving Flag, also known as the International Code Flag "A" or "Alpha" flag, is its role in clear and immediate communication. Its distinct blue and white design is highly visible from a distance, even in challenging weather conditions or bright glare. Hoisting this flag instantly alerts surrounding traffic—from small recreational boats to large commercial vessels—to the underwater activity near your boat. This simple action drastically reduces the risk of collisions and ensures a safe zone for your divers to surface without danger, providing peace of mind for both the crew on board and the team below.

Engineered for Durability in the Harsh Marine Environment

Built to withstand the rigors of the sea, the PLASTIMO diving flag is designed for longevity. It features robust construction with expertly sewn panels, rather than being printed, which ensures the vibrant blue and white colours remain bright and resistant to fading from prolonged exposure to UV rays and saltwater. The reinforced heading and sturdy stitching prevent fraying and tearing in high winds, guaranteeing that the flag remains intact and fully functional when you need it most. This commitment to quality means you are investing in a reliable piece of safety equipment that will serve your vessel for many seasons.
