Plastimo Marker 40g

PLASTIMO Marker 40g: Essential Daytime Distress Signal for Marine Safety

Enhance your safety on the water with the PLASTIMO Marker 40g, a critical piece of equipment for every boat and vessel. In an emergency situation, especially a man-overboard (MOB) scenario, visibility is the key to a swift and successful rescue. This high-performance sea marker from our Accessories and Parts collection is expertly designed to dramatically increase the chances of being spotted during daylight hours, providing invaluable time for search and rescue teams. It is an indispensable tool for sailors, powerboaters, and any maritime professional who prioritizes safety above all.

Engineered for immediate action, the PLASTIMO Marker deploys instantly upon contact with the water. In a distress situation, the individual simply releases the marker´s contents into the water. It dissolves in seconds, creating a large, vivid fluorescent sheet across the water´s surface. This brilliant, eye-catching patch serves as a powerful visual distress signal, transforming a single point in a vast ocean into an unmissable location. It is specifically designed to facilitate daytime spotting from a rescue ship, a low-flying plane, or a helicopter, cutting down critical search time when every second counts.

The performance of these Markers is exceptional. On clear days, the vibrant fluorescent signal can be seen from the air at distances of up to 10 kilometers, offering an extensive search radius for aerial rescue teams. The signal remains potent and clearly visible for approximately one hour, providing a sustained target for rescuers and ensuring the location of the person in distress is not lost to the currents. This extended duration is crucial for coordinating a successful recovery operation, giving SAR teams a stable reference point to work with.

Designed for absolute reliability and ease of use in high-stress situations, the PLASTIMO Marker 40g is delivered in a compact, sealed, and fully waterproof bag. This robust packaging ensures the marker remains in perfect condition, ready for immediate deployment when you need it most. A convenient fixing cord is included, allowing it to be securely attached to a life jacket, safety harness, or stored within a grab bag, ensuring it is always within reach. Its slim profile and lightweight design mean it adds no noticeable bulk to your essential safety gear, making it a practical and non-intrusive addition to your personal flotation device or vessel´s safety kit.

As an essential component for any boat´s safety inventory, this PLASTIMO Marker is a non-negotiable addition for any responsible skipper, sailor, or offshore enthusiast. It offers profound peace of mind, knowing you have a reliable and highly effective method for daytime identification in an emergency. Do not compromise on safety; equip your vessel and crew with the best.
