Plastimo Olimpic 135 Compass With Flat Card

PLASTIMO Olimpic 135 Compass With Flat Card: Unwavering Accuracy for Safe Navigation

Navigate with absolute confidence using the PLASTIMO Olimpic 135 Compass, an essential piece of navigation equipment designed for skippers who demand uncompromising accuracy and reliability. Perfectly suited for sailboats over 9 meters, this world-renowned steering compass combines classic design with modern technology to provide clear, stable readings in all sea conditions. As a leading choice in the marine industry, the Olimpic 135 ensures you stay on course, whether you´re on a coastal cruise or an offshore passage.

Crystal-Clear Readability in Any Condition

The standout feature of this compass is its large, black flat card, which offers exceptional readability from various angles and distances. This design is particularly beneficial for helmsmen who prefer to read their course while standing or seated further from the binnacle. The Olimpic 135 is renowned for its exceptional card stability, thanks to Plastimo´s exclusive vibration absorber system. This ensures that the card remains steady and easy to read, even when the vessel is pitching and rolling in rough seas, eliminating guesswork and enhancing navigational safety.

Built for the Harsh Marine Environment

Engineered for durability and longevity, the Olimpic 135 features a robust, retractable protective cover. Comprised of three sliding parts, this clever hood smoothly glides over the dome, shielding it from harmful UV rays, salt spray, and accidental impacts when not in use. This not only preserves the clarity of the dome but also extends the life of one of your most critical instruments on board. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of the marine environment for years to come.

Superior Night-Time Navigation

Voyages don´t end when the sun goes down, and your compass shouldn´t either. The Olimpic 135 comes standard with integrated 12-24 V LED lighting. This energy-efficient system provides soft, uniform illumination across the compass card, ensuring crucial heading information is perfectly visible without causing glare or compromising your night vision. This feature makes night-time helming safer and less strenuous on the eyes.

As a cornerstone of the ´Boats and equipment´ category, specifically within Navigation, the PLASTIMO Olimpic 135 stands out among Compasses as a symbol of reliability and performance. Its SOLAS-MED approval further solidifies its status as a professional-grade instrument you can trust.
