PLASTIMO Rescue Line Set

Category: Boats and equipment
Subcategory: Safety

Enhance your onboard safety protocols with the PLASTIMO Rescue Line Set, an indispensable piece of equipment for every responsible mariner. Designed for rapid, effective response in critical man-overboard (MOB) situations, this system provides the vital link between your vessel and a person in the water, delivering peace of mind on every voyage. It is an essential component of a comprehensive safety inventory, working alongside and complementing traditional lifebuoys and personal flotation devices.

The core of this system is a high-visibility throw bag heaving line, engineered to be very simple to operate even under the most stressful conditions. When seconds count, its intuitive design ensures that anyone on board can deploy it quickly and effectively. The system contains a 20-meter retrieval line expertly stowed in a compact bag, preventing tangles and allowing for a clean, fast throw. This generous length provides sufficient reach to connect with a survivor from the boat, maintaining a safe distance from the person in the water while establishing a secure connection.

One of the standout features of the PLASTIMO Rescue Line is its exceptional performance in adverse weather. The line is ingeniously weighted, a critical design element that allows it to be thrown with remarkable accuracy over a reasonable distance. This weighting ensures the line travels true to its target, cutting through gusts and resisting deflection, even when contending with strong winds. This means you can have confidence in your ability to reach your target on the first attempt.

For a secure and successful retrieval, the rescue line features a robust grab loop at both ends. This thoughtful feature is crucial for both parties involved in a rescue. It provides a secure handhold for the survivor in the water, allowing them to remain attached to the line with minimal effort. Simultaneously, it offers a strong anchor point for the rescuer on the boat, enabling a controlled and powerful retrieval without the risk of the line slipping through their hands.

Beyond its primary function as an emergency rescue device, the PLASTIMO Rescue Line Set proves its value in numerous other circumstances on the water. Its versatility makes it a multi-purpose tool for everyday boating challenges. Use it to expertly get a line to a dock when mooring in tricky crosswinds or currents, pass a tow line to another vessel, or retrieve items from the water. Its utility extends beyond the sea, proving equally useful in many river leisure activities. For enthusiasts of canoeing, kayaking, rafting, or paddleboarding, it serves as a critical safety line for swiftwater rescue scenarios or for assisting fellow adventurers.

Equip your vessel with the PLASTIMO Rescue Line Set and sail with the confidence that you are prepared for the unexpected. Its combination of rapid deployment, user-friendly operation, all-weather accuracy, and versatile application makes it a fundamental piece of safety equipment for any boat owner
