Enhance the safety, longevity, and appearance of your vessel´s rigging with the PLASTIMO Tensor Protector 460 mm. As a crucial component in our Boats and equipment category, this essential accessory is designed for the discerning sailor who values both performance and protection. Eliminate the constant worry of costly sail tears, snagged lines, and painful scrapes on deck by properly covering your rigging hardware.

The PLASTIMO Tensor Protector is a premium Rigging Screw Cover measuring 460mm in length. It is expertly engineered to provide a complete and secure cover for the rigging screw (turnbuckle) and its associated fittings. By enclosing the entire assembly, it serves a critical purpose: to protect your valuable sails, sheets, clothing, and even your skin from from being snagged on exposed turnbuckle parts, sharp split rings, or cotter pins. This simple addition to your rigging can prevent hundreds or even thousands of dollars in sail repair costs and ensures a safer environment for all crew members moving around the deck.

Key Benefits and Features:

* Superior Protection: Its primary function is to create a smooth, snag-free surface over your turnbuckles. This drastically reduces the risk of damage to genoa and mainsails as they move across the shrouds during tacks and gybes. It also protects spinnaker sheets and other running rigging from getting caught, ensuring smoother and safer sailing maneuvers.
* Enhanced On-Deck Safety: Exposed rigging screws and split pins are a common cause of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. The Tensor Protector covers these sharp metal parts, creating a safer deck for you, your family, and your crew, especially in rough conditions.
* Durable Marine-Grade Construction: Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, this protector is crafted from a robust and flexible material that resists UV degradation, saltwater corrosion, and extreme temperature changes. It will not crack or become brittle over time, guaranteeing long-lasting performance season after season.
* Streamlined and Professional Finish: Beyond its practical benefits, the PLASTIMO Tensor Protector gives your boat´s rigging a clean, uniform, and professional appearance. It conceals the mechanical look of the turnbuckles, contributing to a sleek and well-maintained aesthetic.
* Easy and Secure Installation: Designed for convenience, this rigging screw cover is flexible enough to be slipped on and off with ease, yet it provides a snug and secure fit that will stay in place even in heavy seas.

An indispensable item for any sailboat with standing rigging, this product falls under the Accessories and parts subcategory and is a must-have for maintaining your equipment in top condition.
