Preston Innovations Claw feeder

Preston Innovations Claw Feeder

Unlock the full potential of your river fishing with the revolutionary Preston Innovations Claw Feeder. Engineered for anglers who refuse to be beaten by the current, this feeder is the ultimate tool for presenting bait with precision and confidence in demanding, running water conditions. If you´ve ever faced the frustration of a standard feeder being swept away from your target zone, the Claw Feeder is the definitive solution you´ve been searching for. Its intelligent, purpose-built design provides unparalleled stability, allowing you to conquer powerful flows and keep your bait exactly where the fish are feeding.

This unique feeder is especially designed for running water; the anchors allow it to ‘grip’ the river bed in strong currents where it would often not be possible with a standard feeder.

The double connection points allow you to fish the feeder static or by drifting the feeder through the swim at a slow pace.

To fish static you mount the line to the braided loop, this offers a fixed presentation as the anchors will grip in the river bed.

For drift fishing, or slowly moving the feeder along the bottom you mount the line to the small loop in between the anchors.

This way the anchors are reversed which allows your cage to move, resulting in a slow moving presentation which can be excellent on certain days.

The genius of the Claw Feeder lies in its adaptability. The ability to switch between a completely locked-down, static presentation and a subtle, slow-moving drift gives you a tactical advantage that few other feeders can offer. On days when the fish are aggressive and holding in a specific feature, the static method ensures your hookbait and groundbait remain in the prime feeding area. When the fish are more cautious or spread out, engaging the drift function can trigger bites by presenting a bait that mimics natural food being washed downstream. This dual-purpose functionality means you can adapt your approach instantly without changing your rig, saving valuable time on the bank and responding directly to the behaviour of the fish and the river´s pace.

Crafted for performance and durability, the Claw Feeder´s hydrodynamic profile ensures it flies true during the cast and settles quickly on the riverbed. Whether you are targeting powerful barbel in a raging torrent or wary chub in a steady glide, there is a weight in the range to perfectly match the conditions. This feeder isn´t just a piece of terminal tackle; it´s a strategic instrument designed in conjunction with river fishing experts to solve the biggest challenges faced on the bank. Take control of the current, perfect your bait presentation, and experience river fishing with renewed confidence.
