Cables

The SeaTalk NG system utilizes a simple yet powerful cabling hierarchy to ensure data integrity and system reliability. The primary data and power pathway is established by Backbone cables, which run the length of the network. Individual devices, such as instrument displays or sensors, are connected to this backbone using Spur cables. A dedicated Power cable is used to introduce 12V DC power to the network, energizing all connected devices through the backbone.
