Navigate with unwavering confidence and precision using the RIVIERA Urania BU2 5° Compass, an exceptional navigational instrument engineered for mariners who demand accuracy and reliability, especially at high speeds. Designed for binnacle installation, this compass is the perfect fusion of classic Italian craftsmanship and modern technology, ensuring your course is true whether you´re on a leisurely cruise or piloting a high-performance vessel. It stands as a pinnacle of quality in the world of marine compasses, built to withstand the rigorous demands of the marine environment.

Unmatched Performance and Clarity

The RIVIERA BU2 is specifically engineered for superior performance on vessels capable of speeds exceeding 25 knots. Where other compasses may lag or become unstable, the BU2’s advanced high-speed design provides steady, accurate, and real-time heading information. At its heart is an internal cardan suspension system, which masterfully absorbs the vessel´s pitch and roll, keeping the compass card perfectly level and readable even in challenging sea conditions. This ensures you can trust your readings when you need them most.

Visibility is paramount for safe navigation, and the BU2 excels in all lighting conditions. The large, 4-inch apparent card features a bold black background with crisp, white 5° graduation, making it easy to read at a glance. An integrated anti-reflective screen minimizes glare from the sun, while the standard 12V lighting system illuminates the card for perfect night-time legibility, reducing eye strain and enhancing navigational safety after dark.

Engineered for Accuracy and Durability

Accuracy is the cornerstone of any reliable navigational tool. The RIVIERA BU2 comes with built-in compensation, allowing you to easily and effectively correct for magnetic deviation caused by your boat´s electronic and metallic components. This essential feature ensures that your compass provides a true and reliable heading, fundamental for safe passage and precise course plotting. Built by RIVIERA, a brand synonymous with quality in marine equipment, this compass is crafted for longevity and resilience, ready to serve as your trusted partner on the water for years to come.
