As a standout product in the esteemed Urania series, this compass embodies the quality and reliability that the RIVIERA brand is known for. Engineered for binnacle installation, it serves as the perfect centerpiece for your vessel´s helm, providing clear, accurate headings for safe and efficient voyages. Whether you are coastal cruising or undertaking longer passages, the BU2 compass is your trusted partner on the water.

Unwavering Reliability at Sea

The core benefit of the RIVIERA BU2 lies in its exceptional stability and accuracy, even in challenging conditions. Its design prioritizes the needs of the serious boater.
* Steady Readings in Rough Waters: The sophisticated internal cardan suspension system masterfully absorbs the pitch and roll of your vessel. This ensures the compass card remains level and stable, providing you with a reliable, easy-to-read heading when you need it most.
* Superior Visibility Day and Night: Read your course at a glance, regardless of the lighting conditions. The compass features a highly effective anti-reflective screen that cuts through solar glare, while the integrated 12V lighting illuminates the card for perfect nighttime legibility. This combination reduces eye strain and enhances safety during all hours of operation.
* Precision Course Correction: Every vessel has its own magnetic field that can interfere with a compass. The BU2 features built-in compensation, allowing you to easily adjust and nullify magnetic deviation, ensuring your instrument points to the true magnetic north and your plotted course is accurate.

Designed for Performance and Durability

The RIVIERA BU2 is built with features that enhance its functionality and longevity. Its robust construction is a testament to Italian marine engineering, ensuring it will withstand the harsh marine environment for years to come. The high-contrast black card with crisp white graduation is designed for maximum readability, allowing for quick and effortless course confirmation. This model is the normal speed version, perfectly calibrated for vessels operating at speeds up to 25 knots.
