Ropeye TDP 14 bushing

ROPEYE TDP 14 Thru-Deck Fitting with Integrated Bushing

Experience the ultimate in watertight performance and rigging reliability with the ROPEYE TDP 14, a revolutionary thru-deck and thru-bulkhead fitting designed for the most demanding sailing conditions. Engineered for discerning sailors who refuse to compromise on quality and safety, the TDP 14 provides an exceptionally strong, lightweight, and durable solution for leading lines and creating attachment points on your vessel. This essential piece of marine hardware from the Boats and equipment category is a benchmark in modern fitting design.

At the core of the TDP 14´s design is a unique and innovative system that completely separates the load-bearing component from the thru-deck bushing. This ingenious separation is the key to its exceptional performance. It creates an impeccable, watertight seal, effectively preventing water intrusion that can lead to catastrophic core damage and delamination over time. By installing the TDP 14, you are investing in the long-term structural integrity of your deck or bulkhead.

Furthermore, this advanced two-part design eliminates all direct metal-on-metal or metal-on-carbon contact between the fastener and the load-bearing loop. This effectively puts a permanent end to the risks of galvanic corrosion and premature wear, which are common points of failure in traditional fittings. The result is a maintenance-free, incredibly durable fitting that you can trust, season after season. The high-performance bushing ensures a smooth, low-friction passage while maintaining a perfect seal, making it a standout product in the Bushings sub-category.

Engineered for strength without the weight penalty, the ROPEYE TDP 14 boasts an incredibly low profile and a smooth, snag-free finish. This minimalist design reduces windage, keeps your deck clear of hazards, and contributes to a clean, professional aesthetic. Its design is perfectly suited for modern rigging solutions, easily accommodating soft attachments, loops, and lashings for a clean and efficient setup. This versatility makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of high-load applications, including sheet leads, control lines, barber haulers, tack points, and securing deck equipment. Upgrade your vessel’s hardware with a fitting that matches the performance of your entire system.
