Say goodbye to unreliable sealants and the risk of water ingress, and protect your valuable electronics with a solution trusted by professionals worldwide.

The core purpose of this DS21B cable gland, made of plastic and waterproof according to the rigorous IPX6/IPX7 standard, is to provide complete peace of mind. This range of Scanstrut grommets offers full sealing for cable runs that have to pass through a deck or bulkhead exposed to the weather. Whether you´re facing heavy seas, powerful jet washing, or driving rain, this grommet ensures that your critical connections below deck remain perfectly dry and free from corrosion, safeguarding the integrity and longevity of your entire electronic system.

Simplified Installation, Maximum Reliability

One of the most significant advantages of the Scanstrut Deck Seal range is its revolutionary installation process. Its design avoids the need to disassemble the connectors during installation. This critical feature saves immense time and frustration, as you no longer need to cut and re-solder wires or risk damaging delicate factory-fitted plugs. The innovative split-seal design allows you to simply pass the connector through, ensuring a quick, easy, and secure fit every time. Each unit is supplied with pre-drilled and blind gaskets to make installation as simple as possible, accommodating a range of cable diameters and ensuring a perfect, snug fit for your specific application. The captive nuts on the base make for an easy assembly and allow for reliable repeat installations.

Durable by Design

Built to withstand the harshest conditions, the DS21B-P-BLK is constructed from high-impact, UV-stabilized plastic. This ensures it will not degrade, become brittle, or discolour under prolonged exposure to sunlight and saltwater spray, offering a long-lasting and maintenance-free solution. Its domed shape improves the aesthetics of the installation, while providing greater resistance to shocks and eliminating sharp edges. This low-profile, streamlined design not only looks clean and professional on any surface but also minimizes the risk of snagging ropes, lines, or feet, enhancing safety on deck.
