Scotty Power Grip Plus Release trolling clip

SCOTTY Power Grip Plus Release Trolling Clip: Unmatched Precision and Reliability for Downrigger Fishing

Master your trolling spread and achieve unparalleled depth control with the SCOTTY Power Grip Plus Release Clip, the industry-standard for serious anglers using downriggers. Engineered for performance and reliability, this essential piece of fishing equipment eliminates the guesswork and frustration of traditional line releases. Whether you are targeting deep-dwelling salmon, trout, or walleye, the Power Grip Plus ensures your lure runs true at the desired depth, releasing cleanly and precisely only when a fish strikes. Its innovative design provides an exceptionally secure grip on your fishing line, ensuring it stays exactly where you set it, even in heavy currents or when trolling at higher speeds.

The Power Grip Plus is celebrated for its remarkable versatility and ease of use. The fishing line is gripped firmly yet gently between soft pads, preventing any line abrasion or damage, making it safe for both monofilament and braided lines. Attaining the perfect release tension is simple and intuitive; just move the line further into or out of the jaws to increase or decrease the holding pressure. This variable tension system allows you to fine-tune your setup for any size of lure or bait, from small spoons to large flashers, ensuring a perfect release every time. This level of control is what separates a good day of fishing from a great one, maximizing your chances of a solid hook-up.

Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, the SCOTTY Power Grip Plus boasts a streamlined, hydrodynamic design that prevents it from snagging on weeds or fouling other lines. It comes ready to fish right out of the package, complete with a high-quality Cannonball Snap and a heavy-duty 18″ monofilament leader for a robust and reliable connection to your downrigger weight. Its quality and effectiveness are so trusted that it is included as standard equipment with all new Scotty Downriggers.
